Welcome to my Homepage!
I am currently an Associate Professor in the
Department of World Languages and Cultures at Fayetteville State
University (FSU) and a past (2010) recipient of the UNC Board of Governors
Award for Excellence in Teaching.
My earned degrees are as follows: PhD, Linguistics
(University of Florida), M.Phil and MS, Applied Linguistics (Université de
la Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris), BA (Hons.) French (University of Ifè). I
also have a Graduate Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language
(TESL) from the University of Florida, and a Diplôme de Langues,
Littérature et Civilisation Françaises from the Université de Grenoble
III, France.
Courses I have taught, or am currently teaching
include English Comp, Effective Communication, Research & Writing, French,
Yoruba, African Cultures, Literatures & Religions, African Humanities, The
African Experience, Modern Novel and ESL. I have taught at the High School
level; at Community Colleges, Language Institutes and at the University
level, both in the US and abroad.
