     Dr. Mohammad Siddique is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at the   

     Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville, NC. Prior to that he was an 

     Associate Professor of Mathematics and Interim Chair Department of 

     Mathematics and Computer Science at Virginia Union University, Richmond, 

     VA. Dr. Siddique received his Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from 

     the UW-Milwaukee , Milwaukee, WI in 2002.  His dissertation title 

     was Smoothing with Positivity - Preserving Pade` Schemes for 

     Parabolic Problems with Nonsmooth Data

 

     Dr. Siddique' s  research interests include Numerical Analysis 

     (numerical solution of PDEs and ODEs), Scientific Computing 

     (MPI -   Beowulf Cluster, C / C++, MATLAB, Maple) and Applied 

     Mathematics (modeling and applications in Sciences and Engg.)

    

     Dr. Siddique organized

     1.   A special session on Computational Science Education in the

7th International conference on Computational and Mathematical Methods in Science & Engineering (CMMSE 2007) June 20-23, 2007.
