EXCELLENCE IN SERVICE

Goals

To build a stronger internal community by serving on departmental, school-wide, and university committees.

To provide positive advisement to graduate and under-graduate students.

To organize and plan educational presentations and staff development to local public schools.

To design a resource web site for educational research.

Expected Results

The services provided to K-12 students and faculty of local schools could help strengthen the relationship between the schools and the University. It could also help develop a closer partnership between the two entities. The collaboration with administrators and teachers could be beneficial in exploring strategies to closing the academic achievement gap that exist among some group of students.
