Research in my laboratory primarily focuses on the role of the Janus Kinase-Signal Transducers and Activators of Transcription (JAK-STAT) pathway and Suppressors of Cytokine Signaling (SOCS) proteins in human cancer progression. Overall, the research performed in my laboratory will seek to explore novel approaches to fight cancer and other human diseases. Additionally, my research agenda includes exploring science education and public health issues.
