Professor Dubas earned his doctoral degree in Marketing in 1990 from Drexel University in Pennsylvania. He has taught at Drexel University, St. John’s University in New York, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and Fayetteville State University. He was promoted to Associate Professor of Marketing and awarded tenure in August 1998 and was promoted to Professor of Marketing in August 2001.

Professor Dubas’s research interests include new product development, sales management, individual and group decision-making, and the use of technology in marketing. He has published 20 scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals, published 40 abstracts/articles in peer-reviewed conference proceedings, and presented 45 articles at peer-reviewed conferences. He has submitted 13 grant proposals out of which 8 proposals were funded. He was selected as the Nissan Fellow in a national competition in 1996 that selected only 25 Nissan Fellows. He was selected as the Drexel Fellow at Drexel University during 1987-1988.

Professor Dubas has won the Teacher of the Year Award for the Department of Marketing & Business Education and also for the School of Business & Economics. Professor Dubas has developed and taught six web-based courses at FSU. He has taught the following courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels at various universities.

Professor Dubas has utilized FORTRAN, Java, Maple, Mathematica, Excel, LINDO, GPSS, SAS, and SPSS for programming, data analysis, and simulation modeling. He speaks Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, English, and Russian. He has some knowledge of Spanish, Persian, and Arabic.
