Welcome to the Bilingual Website for Teachers of Introductory Psychology!

A large literature exists to facilitate teachers of introductory psychology classes. Many of these articles, books, and online resources have been published by the two ranking academic and professional associations in the discipline, the Association for Psychological Science (APS) and the American Psychological Association (APA). Our research indicates that few resources exist online in English-Spanish formats for the teaching of psychology, a condition which we proposed to remedy. Features of our website will be the provision of study guides in both languages providing detailed outlines of all topics traditionally covered in introductory psychology classes (e.g., learning, cognition), in addition to ancillary topics sometimes incorporated into introductory psychology courses (e.g., psychology of gender), and facilitation of communication for instructors teaching a Spanish-speaking population. Our website promises to have scholarly and practical utility for standard English as well as bilingual class schemas by disseminating resources for the proficient teaching of mainstream psychology and by fostering communication among psychology instructors, both nationally and internationally.
