Biography of Professor Alireza Lari, PhD. CQM, CQA

Dr. Alireza Lari is a Professor of Management. He received his MBA and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. He had taught at the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Maryland System (Towson University), Amirkabir University of Technology, and Susquehanna University before he joins Department of Management at Fayetteville State University in 1999. He has published three books and more than 50 articles in different journals and proceedings of national and international conferences. He has several years of industrial experience and his last position was the Vice-president of plans and projects in a large overseas car manufacturer. He is an international consultant in the areas of Total Quality Management, ISO Standards of Quality Certification, Process Reengineering, Supply Chain and Customer relationship Management, Process Management, and Systems Design. He has also worked as the project manager and team leader for several overseas industrial projects. He is an IRCA certified ISO 9000/Quality Management Systems Auditor, ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM) and ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA). He is an annual Reviewer and Systems Appraiser of Higher Learning Commission - Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP). He has recently been selected to serve as a Member of 2008 Board of Examiner Malcolm Baldrige Award. He also serves as the Editor-in-Chief for the American Journal of Business Research (AJBR).
